This book is dedicated to anyone who has lost someone they love. I know the feelings of wanting to hug someone one more time. I’ve cried that I didn’t cherish more time with my Mom while she was here on earth. I’ve cried that I didn’t have heart to heart chats with my Dad while he was alive. I carry a back pack of guilt that I wasn’t more present for my sister-in-law while she battled cancer. There are many others whom I miss dearly.
This isn’t a book about sadness. This book may bring tears to your eyes. I’m hoping these stories will touch your heart and you will realize that you are not alone…ever. Each story will open your eyes to the possibility that your loved one is sending you signs that they are very near you in spirit. You may be too busy to notice their signs. You may not be a believer in this at all.
Here’s an example of an Angel Bump. When my Mom passed, I asked for a sign that she was okay. Within minutes my car was surrounded by white butterflies. When my son graduated from high school I sat on the front porch crying. That’s when a little white butterfly arrived, followed us to the car, circled the car and tired to fly into the car. At my son’s rehearsal party for a garden wedding, she flitted between the bride and groom as they practiced their vows. Yes! I’m a believer in Angel Bumps!
I chose the title, Angel Bumps, because I am a believer. When I tell a story about a sign that someone received, I usually get what some people call goosebumps. Angel Bumps are different in that there isn’t a chill in the air, but you feel something. It’s as if an angel’s wing has brushed by you. I know it sounds crazy, but as I write these words, my neck has Angel Bumps. Someone near to me must be chiming in as I write these words.
My hope is that after you read our stories, you will begin to notice your signs and feel the love they are sending. Once you have an Angel Bump, you will never be the same. You will know for sure, you are never…ever… alone.
Each story is unique and has been shared with love.
Thanks so much and bless your hearts!

Anne,
Is it past the deadline for these submissions?
Anne Bardsley says
For this edition yes, but I feel like there may be a book 2.
I’ve gotten several people who have a story to tell.
Send me your story. The book is at the publisher at final edit, but there may be a story that
might not fit as well.
Thanks so much for asking, Anne.
