I’ve been aware of Heaven, angels and signs for a long time. When I opened Anne’s House of Angels, the news began to spread about my store. I had experienced a visit from my guardian angels years ago during a difficult time in my life. My goal was to have everyone know the serenity and peace of angels.
Some days the store was blessed to be a refuge for people with broken hearts. They would come for a cup of tea just to be in the presence of angels.
A mom who lost her son to crib death stopped in frequently. There were quite a few people who were struggling with mental issues. They usually stayed for two cups of tea. Teens who were arguing with their parents dropped in. And elderly ladies out for lunch would drop in, as well. It was a precious time for me.
One of my new customers owned a hair salon. She asked if I’d be interested in putting my things in her gift shop. It was a leap of faith at the time. It was an added expense, but I did it.
She called me one cold, blustery morning to tell me, “Sit down! You’re not going to believe this. Last night I was closing up and noticed a woman looking in the window. “Who would be out on a night like this?” she asked. There was a blizzard warning and all of the stores were closing early. “I told the woman the salon was closed. The woman said, ‘I have no idea why I’m here. I don’t need a haircut.’ She started to cry.”
Mary invited her in. “I’ve just buried my six-year-old son and I am so lost,” she sobbed. Mary took her by the hand and said, “I know why you were lead here.” They walked into the gift shop. The woman was surrounded by angels when spotted the book, All God’s Creatures Go to Heaven. It’s a story about how children who go to Heaven are given animals to watch over. The boy on the cover has long, blondish, brown bangs and he’s holding a rabbit. He looked exactly like her son. She held the book in her arms, pressing his face to her heart. She sobbed harder.
That in itself was amazing however, when she opened the book, she saw the little boy’s name was Jacob. That was her son’s name. Mary gave her the book.
Mary is an angel in training!
Sometimes signs come when you need them. If you trust, you might find one of your own.

What a beautiful story. Sometimes I think we need to be Angels as much as we need one. And you.ve inspired me to appreciate the Angels in my life that I never recognized as Angels until just now.

That is so sweet, Helen.
I’m happy you liked the story.

My book Angel Bumps…Evidence of Love from Beyond will be ready around
Easter. I was hoping I’d have it done for Christmas, but the stories were so sweet, I
had to keep buying tissues. This is what happens when you’re a tender heart.

And how well I know this to be true.
