******Today I am thrilled to introduce you to Cindy DeRose. Her story, I Am Always With you,”
is included in Heartstrings From Heaven. Her mom is very busy sending her signs that she’s
never left her side. Say hello to Cindy’s mom.
I Am Always With You
God blessed me with an angel for my mom. We shared an incredibly special bond.
I used to talk to my mom every day. We were best friends. And our bond is still so strong
since she went to Heaven on September 16, 2021. God sends his angels to give me signs
from my mom that she is at peace with Jesus, my dad, and all the other angels. I loved my
mom so very much.
In May 2021, at the age of eighty-nine, my mom had a mild heart attack, a mild stroke,
and a clot in her right leg. Her cardiologist said most people would not have survived that
combination, but my mom had a strong will to live for me and our family. We all loved
her so very much.
A few months later, my mom arrived in Heaven, from where she called my name as I was
waking up from a dream. I heard “Cindy,” said calmly in her tone of voice. She sounded
like she wanted to tell me something.
Just two days after my mom went to Heaven, I had asked God as I looked at the rising
sun to send me a sign that my mom was at peace with Jesus and my dad in Heaven with
all the other angels. At that exact moment, I looked down and found a white feather at
my feet. I learned the meaning of finding a white feather. It means your guardian angel
is watching over you, the end of pain and suffering, and a new beginning. Mom always
said that when you go to Heaven, it’s a new beginning.
That evening I went to Ashtabula Harbor on Lake Erie with my husband, Lee, and some
friends for a boat ride to watch the sunset. When we got there, I was overcome with grief
and missing Mom. I just wanted to pick up the phone and call her about the beautiful evening
we had planned. I told my husband, “I don’t know if I can live life without Mom.” Just as I was
stepping onto the boat, a feather appeared on the grass. I knew it was a sign from God
and Mom. The boat driver told me it was the most incredible sunset they had seen all summer.
On November 29, 2021, a heart was carved in the snow in my driveway. It didn’t melt overnight
like three-quarters of the driveway had. When the snow did finally melt, underneath I found a
heart of crushed leaves. This was the exact spot I found the other white feather.
After my mom went to Heaven, I created a garden in memory of my parents with flowers
that bloom in the spring and an angel statue with a water fountain. Just as we finished it,
a tiny white butterfly flew over it as the sun shone down. It became our visiting place.
Recently, my parents became great-grandparents! Eleanor was born nine months to the
day of my mom’s passing. Mom would have felt so honored to have a little namesake. I wish
she could have been here to meet this little sweetheart.
Not so long ago, I was looking at the sky and said, “I know you are smiling in heaven.” Just
then, two cardinals flew by together. They landed in the tree next to my parent’s memorial garden.
Then a white butterfly joined them. My Mom is still with me in spirit and soul, loving me from
Heaven. Her spirit is alive in my heart. Love is eternal.
